SACRIFICE (ADDED SCRIPTURE)

Do we ever take the time 
to give thanks to the One above,

the one who gave His only son 
in a sacrifice of love?

Do we ever stop and think 
what it took for Him to die on that tree?

Or are we too bound up in our own lives, 
our own wants, and our own needs?

Would you die for someone you never met?

Would you give up your own son or daughter?

Or are we too wrapped up in our own petty needs

that we can't take time to think of another?

Can we please just take a minute or two

to thank the Lord for what 
He has done for me and for you?

If we have the time to ask Him,

I think we should take the time to thank Him.
