SCATTERED INTO THE DUSTY,
 CRAZY,
 WIND.

PUT BACK TOGETHER

HE MADE ME WHOLE AGAIN.

EVER SINCE I WAS BORN,

FROM MAYBE THE AGE OF ONE,

I'VE BEEN TORN ASUNDER

BY ALL OF THE HORRIBLE, SCARY THUNDER,

MAKING ME WANT, NEED, TO RUN AND HIDE,
ANYWHERE;

FIND SOME SMALL, DARK PLACE
WHERE IT COULD JUST BE ME,

SOMEWHERE I COULD NEVER BE FOUND

AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO FACE

ALL OF THE HEART WRENCHING SOUNDS,

AS IF I WAS PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK.
BUT MY JESUS WAS ALWAYS THERE
BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT EVEN CARED,
OPENED HIS ARMS,
WELCOMING THIS SAD LITTLE CHILD,
WRAPPED IN HIS LOVING WINGS FOREVER,
NEVER TO BE TORN ASUNDER AGAIN.

JESUS RESCUED ME (COMPLETLY UPDATED)

I REMEMBER THAT SUNNY SUNDAY

SO CLEARLY

AS IF IT WAS JUST YESTERDAY.

I WAS FIVE, SITTING NEXT TO MY MOTHER,

MY SISTER ON THE OTHER SIDE.

THE PREACHER GAVE THE ALTER CALL

AND I IMMEDIATELY STOOD UP,

THE PULL ON MY HEART WAS UNBELIEVABLE.

MY MOTHER IMMEDIATELY PULLED ME BACK

ONTO THE PEW NEXT TO HER.

I FINALLY ASKED HER WHY,

AND SHE SAID DAD

HAD TOLD HER

TO NEVER EVER LET US GO UP TO THE ALTER

AND GET SAVED.

BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE ALTER

TO BE SAVED.

I KNOW THAT DAY

JESUS SAT NEXT TO THAT SAD, LONELY

FIVE YEAR OLD

AND CAME INTO HER SAD LITTLE LONELY

BROKEN HEART

AND MADE IT WHOLE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.

JESUS RESCUED ME.

THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IM HIM

BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

BRAVE BUNNY GETS TO GO HOME!

IT WAS FINALLY TIME!
 BRAVE BUNNY FELT LIKE THIS DAY WOULD NEVER COME.
BUT IT WAS FINALLY HERE AND, TO BE HONEST, HE FELT LIKE A BIT OF A FRAUD. 
MAYBE HE SHOULD TELL HIS DOCTOR
THAT HE STILL FELT A LITTLE SICK
BECAUSE HE REALLY HATED TO LEAVE
ALL THE OTHER SICK BUNNIES
AND HE KNEW WHEN HE GOT HOME
ALL THE OTHERS,
HIS 50 SISTERS AND 60 BROTHERS,
PROBABLY WOULDN'T CARE
THAT HE HAD BEEN SICK AT ALL.
AND HE WOULDN'T GET ANYMORE
STRAWBERRY JELLO.
THEN AGAIN, 
MAYBE IF HE ASKED NICELY ENOUGH,
HIS GRANDMOTHER WOULD MAKE HIM SOME.
AND BRAVE BUNNY,
IF HE MUST ADMIT,
WAS REALLY A LITTLE HOMESICK.
HE MISSED HIS PET DOG,
AND HIS PET FROG,
AND HIS OWN LITTLE BED
THAT SEEMED TO FIT HIM JUST RIGHT
AND HIS MOTHER WOULD HOLD HIM TIGHT.
SO MAYBE, AFTER ALL,
IT WAS TIME TO GO BACK TO THE BARREN,
OTHERWISE KNOWN
AS THEIR HAPPY LITTLE BUNNIE HOME.

FIVE FOREVER (UPDATED WITH TITLE AND SCRIPTURE)

These past few weeks,

the devil has used scare tactics against me

in a most horrendous way,

convinced me that I have a short time to live.

According to scripture, when it is our time to go,

we are promised joyfulness and anticipation,

not fear. Never fear.
Fear does not come from the Lord.

Why and how can we ever be fearful of finally meeting our
Jesus Christ face-to-face,

of sitting at His feet,

at staring into his glorious face?

And my sweet Lord has promised me that I will be five again forever, skipping through the clouds, singing "Jesus Loves Me" to my hearts content, sipping from the stream of living water,

and resting at His feet.

What's so scary about that?

This time we have on earth is just a blink of an eye,

a test, the beginning of something wonderful that awaits us in the great beyond.

So cast all of your hurts and cares and fears upon Him, for He cares for you.

Don't compare Him to your earthly family and how they mistreated you,
because there is no comparison.

Encourage others that are going through a dark spell
that this is only temporary,
and the pain we go through will be forgotten at the end.

Don't give up,
please don't give up.

Grab my tiny hand,
and we shall skip together hand-in-hand
 through the clouds together

for eternity.

The water is as sweet as the company and sun and shade abounds.
