and then I remember
my Aunt and Sister in the Lord
told me to stop my pity parties
and focus on His Word.
For God has given us a spirit of love through Him.
Which means we must learn to love ourselves,
warts and all.
This is hard to do,
but maybe it's just me.
There are things I have done for which I cannot forgive myself.
What does that say about me?
I know deep in my heart, God forgives all,
so why shouldn't that include me?
He called me for a reason,
and maybe this just might be the season,
so here I stand,
warts and all.
ROMANS 5:5 - HOPE NEVER MAKES US ASHAMED BECAUSE THE LOVE OF GOD HAS COME INTO OUR HEARTS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO WAS GIVEN TO US.
