pebbles in my shoes
makes it so hard to walk
I want to stay on the narrow and straight
but can I please just take a break?
that fence looks so inviting
let me sit a while
maybe I can take the pebbles out
and continue with you by my side
will you please carry me if the walk gets too hard?
