People out to break your heart
no matter the consequences,
circumstances.
The Good Word says
to guard your heart,
but I'm still confused
as to how to do
just that.
How do you keep
and unsuspecting fool
from getting into your soul?
I suppose Jesus is the only answer,
the guard of my heart,
the one who has the potential
to keep all the filfth from this earth
affecting my soul,
trashing my heart,
making me a part of their compulsion
to ruin
the pure,
the sure,
the saved,
the one's who are not praved.
I refuse to give in
to the sin.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
