LET YOUR HEART FLY

I made it to Easter service,
which I praise God for,
because I'm not exactly the picture of health.
Going anywhere is very ruff,
to state it lightly and in as few words as I can
possibly.
And being outside is such a nice change from
my dungeon.
The beautiful dessert sun felt so warm in my skin,
and I opened the window wide
to feel that sweet feeling
of having the wind blow your long hair
everywhere.
I felt like maybe a dog might feel,
with her head hanging out of the window,
ears flying,
free from the chains that bind us down
into our dungeons.
Yes, of course, I was in pain.
But the music was so beautiful,
the message was straight,
and I got to meet a sweet young couple
and see my adorable young friend Sean.
I even was blessed to have Pastor Jeff
pray with us before we had to leave.
But my outdoor time was up,
(tic toc)
and it was time to go back to my dungeon.
I wanted to stay out in the beautiful world
my amazing God made.
But this dungeon
is where I put on my headphones
and listen to Praise and Worship music
every day.
I have to.
I even some times sing along,
but only if I'm alone.
Because my voice is sweet to His ears,
but not necessarily others.
Hint from an older sister Christian:
If you're having trouble sleeping,
having weird nightmares,
or just feeling alone and sad,
listen to music that wants you to sing along,
to praise our King.
You will wake up
feeling as if you had slept
on purple puffy clouds.
And please just try for a day
to give more time to Him
than you would to a favorite thing,
whatever takes you away from God,
and I promise you
that you're soul will fly
straight into God's wings,
home
where we belong.

PSALM 17:8

KEEP ME AS THE APPLE OF YOUR EYE;
HIDE ME IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS.

ISAIAH 40:31

BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD
WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.
THEY WILL SOAR LIKE WINGS ON EAGLES;
THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY.
THEY WILL WALK AND NOT BE FAINT

So, now that I've made myself feel better
by writing my deepest thoughts in my journal,
I pray all of you have a very happy Easter.
Please remember that you are never alone
and Jesus loves you so much
He spread out his arms this wide.
