Random Acts of Kindness (UPDATED WITH SCRIPTURE)

Could you please
take some of that precious time of yours
to make things right,
maybe apologize,
even though
you may feel as if you didn't do anything wrong?
Just try.
Push that brick wall of pride aside and
just give in,
plant some seeds
and,
best of all
share some of the love
that God has been gracious enough
to show to you.
So many people are desperately lonely,
without a family,
without love of any kind,
without a home,
hurting.
Random acts of kindness
are so easy to perform.
And they really don't take long,
only a minute or two at the most.
And they probably won't cost you much,
if anything.
So smile at a stranger.
Or,
better yet,
I dare you to smile
at someone you don't like.
Smile
even when someone cuts you off on the freeway,
upsets you, makes you mad,
or gets in your precious way.
Did you know that it takes less muscles to smile
than it does to frown?
Turn that frown upside down.
And did you know that just
the smallest act of smiling
will make you feel better when you're down or unhappy, having a bad day?
Smile's are contagious
Take your time
when you're in a long line,
or queue as the British say,
to tell someone
how much Jesus loves them,
the sacrificial lamb.
Open the door
for that poor soul
who walks with a cane
because, trust me,
life's not easy when you have to walk with an aid.
And how hard is it to smile,
to reach out a loving hand,
to have some empathy, to try to understand,
and, dare I say, pray
right then and there,
in front of everybody?
What?
Are you ashamed?
God's plan may be hard to comprehend.
But really, it's actually very simple.
All God wants is the glory
He so richly deserves
after sacrificing His only son
for such a wreck as us.
 Grow close to Him,
perform random acts of kindness.
Gently
reach out a sympathetic
loving
hand.
I beg you.
Please.

PROVERBS 8:34

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO LISTEN TO ME,
WATCHING DAILY AT MY DOORS,
WAITING AT MY DOORWAY

PSALM 143:8

LET THE MORNING BRING YOU
UNFAILING LOVE,
FOR I HAVE PUT MY TRUST IN YOU.
SHOW ME THE WAY I SHOULD GO,
FOR TO YOU IN ENTRUST MY LIFE.
